Project Cont'd: Fermentation Workshop w/Hanah and Draft Outline

We attended a fermentation workshop held by HEX Ferments on last Saturday with Hanah, and it was delightful. We made kimchi and took some home, so watching it transform serves as daily contemplation on our research idea.

Meaghan, the founder of HEX Ferments gave us some tips and ideas on who to approach to get support and feedback about our topic. Anne Estes, who is apparently working on the bacteria colonization in fermentation, will be someone to get in contact. Just off the top of my head, I thought: maybe we should try to contact Meaghan and see if we can serve some complimentary kimchi during our reception, since after all we are trying to discover the psychobiotic affects of fermentation. It might contribute to the level of immersion we are trying to achieve. But I digress.

I have been keenly interested on decision architecture methodology, just because creating artistic work with the help of scientific methods seem like a crazy enough to work idea. So I'll try to depict an outline of our project, borrowing concepts from decision architecture methodology, often used in creating monetizable strategies. (this is my version of #eattherich)

A very sample workflow schema.

Using these methodologies don't take me away from being poetic, but I simply like systematic approaches to art. I don't know if it makes sense.
